In may this year, I spent two weeks in Paris. It was a dream of mine to go back and spend some time. I felt extremely inspired, and went out everyday to draw on my sketchbooks, but also to just observe and absorb the city and the people. After the trip I worked on this series of illustrations based on photos and notes. I worked on the iPad, but I really think the practice on my sketchbook is adding a new spontaneity to my digital work. Happy to have captured and registered such a special trip to me through my work.
